    For those who have elevated Lp(a), here is some news on the latest research using two antisense oligonucleotides. I thought that it was interesting that no randomized controlled studies have been done to determine if lowering Lp(a) via available limited methods would show a reduced risk. We should get some hard data from the trials associated with the antisense oligonucleotide technology, but it will take a while.
